St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church (North Okkalappa Parish)
This mission was started in 1973 with Catechists and Diocesan priests from St. Joseph’s Catholic Major Seminary under the close direction of Archbishop Emeritus Gabriel Thohey Mahn Gaby. It was started with a small house donated by one generous family. Slowly the land and the building itself were extended as the number of the Faithful increased. In 2004, there are 240 Catholic families with the total number of 1283 Faithful.
